About China Buffet Mongolian BBQ
Starting from 6/27/2002 we are open for dining in right now
Located at 230 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, China Buffet Mongolian BBQ operates as a chinese restaurant serving Arlington Heights in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as buffet restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 AMβ8:30 PM. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (847) 222-9988. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating stands at 3.3 out of 5 from 633 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Arlington Heights is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Bad food and service Got sick and would never go back again. The owner lady never wanted to admit she is part of the βownerβ and tends to push the complaint back to what she claimed -owner seldom comes to the restaurant so there is no way to reach him for the complaint and she has to pass the complaint to him and after politely asking for reaching him either by phone or any other time in the restaurant for the complaint, she claimed he cannot be reached by phone and as far as to talk to the owner, she said you will never meet him at all in the restaurant. Obviously from her reply, she is the boss. As a matter of fact, we saw the owner at least two times out of three times we dined there. This owner lady thought we donβt know who they are. Honesty is the basic in doing any business. Her attitude wasn't great and did not believe what customer had to say. One time I ate there, got a very bad diarrhea and didnβt link the cause with the buffet since I had other food, so we went back again. This time, I didnβt eat any other stuff except for their buffet that day; really bad diarrhea happened, so I am pretty sure something in their buffet caused the sickness. The mongolian bbq meats wer

I have to be honest the people here are nice so it makes you not want to leave a review but itβs just a must. The food here was not good at all it tasted as if most things were reheated over and over even the fruit was bad and drinks tasted like they have bad water plates were dirty. I love giving good feedback but Iβm in hopes that this restaurant will take in consideration their customers a bit more. If Iβm going to pay to eat at an establishment it should be worth it and unfortunately I was very disappointed. I wish your business well but I will not be back or recommending people to this place.

I've been to many buffets. This one deserves a higher star rating compared to many others. I visited for lunch on a Sunday not long after they opened. Normally I try to hit these places up after the lunch rush so the leftovers cycle out but the leftovers were good. The food was plentiful and the staff were friendly, nobody judged me for getting five plates of food. As with many buffets the plates are quite small so you look like a glutton but that doesn't bother me, I'd go back.

Drove in from Arkansas to Chicago and were very hungry. We're familiar with China Buffets and thought we would try this because I had a taste for several of their regulars. Egg drop soup would have been better with green onion but that's okay. Mongolian beef was good. Sushi is lacking big! It wasn't bad. But it wasn't worth writing home about.

As a buffet, thereβs quite a variety of choices. Four soups, more than a dozen hot dishes, salads, desserts, coffee, tea and beverages. There is a chef stir-frying a dish for the customers, too. All at a price of $8 for us, senior citizens, all inclusive. What more can you ask for?
